Reliable Science. Independent Results. Certified Accuracy.

We test with clarity, act with integrity, and leverage the latest technology to deliver accurate, trusted results.

Our Story

Barb Clarke, founder of Peconic Water Testing (PWT), has lived, raised her family, and been a decades long resident on the East End of Long Island.  She is rooted and vested in the community, driven by values of service, support, and commitment.

What began as a passion project testing her own water supply has grown into a service she is proud to offer to the community.  By working directly with NYSDOH, her clients gain vital information about the quality of water in their homes, empowering them to take remedial action if indicated by test results.

Setting PWT and Barb Clarke apart is more than state of the art technique or equipment, it is the intention behind every test: listen first, explore carefully, and deliver accurate results with clarity and understanding.

Independent By Design

“We run Peconic Water Testing with a simple promise: impartiality first. We select top independent labs and trusted technicians so results reflect science, not sales. We don’t recommend treatments or favor vendors – we present clear, unbiased data and explain what it means for you.

By partnering only with accredited labs and transparent protocols, we ensure clients get the highest-quality testing and objective findings they can trust to make informed decisions about their water with clear guidance.”
